This farm has been owned by the family since 1942 and was then a sheep farm of 6000 hectares. Today it is still a sheep farm, however due to its location, half way between Namibia and South Africa, it lends itself to be the ideal stopover for travellers.

Vastrap Guest farm also offers day trips around the farm, river rafting on the Orange River - the natural border between Namibia and South Africa - or to the great Fish River Canyon.
